Who We Are

WOSJI is an NGO established in 2024 by a dedicated team of experts, the Women’s Safety and Justice Initiative (WOSJI) is a pioneering organization focused on empowering women and girls in Somalia. Our mission is to dismantle systemic barriers, advocate for gender equity, and enhance access to justice to drive transformative change.

With our headquarters in Mogadishu and a strong commitment to community-driven solutions, WOSJI is deeply engaged in addressing gender-based violence and promoting women’s rights. This localized approach enables us to provide tailored strategies that effectively navigate the complex socio-cultural landscape of Somalia, ensuring that all women and girls can live, work, and thrive without fear.
